Where are you located?
17 S Main St, North East, Maryland 21901. There's parking in front of and behind the building.
What payment do you accept?
Debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and cash.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Not yet, but we will offer gift cards soon!
Do you take walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome as long as we have room. Appointments always come first.
Can I make an appointment?
Yes! Appointments need at least 24 hours' notice, and so do cancellations, so we can give the slot to another pet who needs it. Appointments always take priority over walk-ins. As a courtesy to other customers and their pets, if you're more than 10 minutes late we may reschedule your appointment, or start on other pets first, which can delay your pet's groom. If you're running late, please call and let us know.
Does my pet have to be vaccinated?
Yes. Every animal groomed at Puppy Love needs proof of current vaccinations. Dogs must have current Bordetella and rabies vaccinations, and we accept current clinic and veterinarian records. All dogs must also be on a heartworm, flea and tick control program. These are the minimum requirements, and they keep every animal in the salon safe.
How long can my pet stay?
Please pick your pet up within an hour after grooming, or before closing time, to avoid daycare and pet-sitting charges.
Are there ever extra charges?
Yes, for pets that need extra work: flea treatment, tick removal, de-shedding, matted, greasy or very dirty coats, and difficult or aggressive dogs. To keep fleas from spreading to other pets and the salon, we treat every pet that shows any sign of fleas or ticks.
